Are you 18 or over? Yes.

Canon: Mickey, Donald, Goofy : The Three Musketeers
Character: Princess Minnie Mouse.
Timeline: After her rescue from the tower.
Personality: Like most Disney princesses, Minnie has wanted so much more out of life than what she has now. But instead of something vague and arbitrary, she knows exactly what her life had been missing – love! She wanted love more than anything else in the world. To love, to be loved in return, to talk of love, and so on and so forth. In fact, she doesn’t even care where this love comes from – on the suggestion that she ‘must’ marry someone of pure blood, she dismisses the idea, wanting only to marry for – you guessed it – love, be they rich or poor. It’s an inkling of how kind she really is, as she’s capable of being friends with anyone of any status, and it’s shown that her people love her in turn.

She can be quite headstrong and feel as if she’s right without having any real reason to show why she’s right. How does she know she’s in love with Mickey? She just DOES. How does she know that she’ll be rescued? She just DOES. As part of her royal upbringing, she’s used to being right so much, and it never occurs to her that anyone could actually want to do her harm because of this attitude or her position on the throne. Despite how Pete acts towards her, she never once suspects he’s the one trying to threaten her life until it’s made plainly in her face. Her absolute faith in herself and in others has often gotten her in trouble, but she’s never stopped being herself.

But people can make mistakes, and she’s ready to call them out on it when need be. Even after falling hopelessly in love with Mickey in mere seconds, she still yells at him when he attacks her lady-in-waiting, although she’s quick to forgive once she understands why he did it. She’s ready to snap off at Pete when she feels he’s done wrong, despite him being five times her size. She is princess, her word is law, and that should be good enough. Yet she enjoys humble down to earth things as well, such as strolls through her garden, going to see operas, sneaking off to have romantic romps, etc. She is fairly young after all, since she is princess and not queen, so she still has a lot to learn about people and about her own kingdom. She is a good person, she just needs to be taken down a few notches every once in a while.

Background:
Once upon a time, there was a pretty little princess named Minnie, who lived in France and wanted love more than anything else in the world. She described to Daisy the way she would know her love was the one – he’d stroll into the room, there’d be music, he’d bring her flowers, and she’d know he was the one when he made her laugh. Despite Daisy’s misgivings about such a mystery guy existing, Minnie still daydreamed about this perfect man… and then narrowly missed death, as a safe fell only a few inches away from her. Oh my goodness, someone tried to off the princess! But who, and why?

She and Daisy demanded Pete, the Captain of the Musketeers, to give her musketeer bodyguards, since her life was now clearly in danger. This wasn’t a welcome request to Pete, seeing as it was his minions who bungled up the order about the safe. They were supposed to KEEP her safe until his plans were ready, not DROP a safe on her! (“Well, that’s good, ‘cause we missed her!”) But Pete’s wicked schemes didn’t falter, as he came up with the idea to hire three incompetent orphan teens as Minnie’s bodyguards. That’d make kidnapping her later a lot easier, mwahaha! Minnie was none the wiser about the scheme, though she did note that Pete was acting a bit strangely.

Thus Minnie was introduced to her new musketeer bodyguards – Donald Duck, Goofy, and Mickey… hello, handsome! There he was – strolling into the room, with music, and flowers, and then – Daisy had to go and interrupt it by bringing her highness some snacks. Unfortunately, the inclusion of a cheese knife with said snacks made the three newly appointed musketeers think she was a villain after Minnie’s life, and so they tackled Daisy to try and stop her. After Minnie recovered from this shocking display, she demanded the three stop. That is my lady in waiting! How dare you!

The trio quickly dropped Daisy and apologized, with Mickey explaining that they thought Minnie’s life was in danger. Well, at least they were doing their jobs. All was forgiven – though not by Daisy – and so Minnie ordered her new boys to come along as she and Daisy went out for a carriage ride. Once alone with her friend, Minnie squealed over her love interest, already head over heels for him. Daisy tried to point out that since Mickey was a commoner, any love between him and Minnie would be forbidden. This was clearly the wrong thing to say, as now Minnie wanted him even more! “Our love is… forbidden? … A forbidden love… How romantic!”

However, the discussion of love and all its forbidden delights was interrupted by three Beagle Boy bandits, hired by Pete! They landed on the carriage, and tossed off the musketeers, kidnapping Minnie and Daisy. They arrived at a secret tower, and tossed the frightened females into a cage as they awaited orders from the boss. But of course our heroes arrive! ... Well, Donald hides, but Mickey and Goofy still count as heroes! With Mickey’s fighting spirit and Goofy’s clever ingenuity, the villains are sent flying (literally) and the girls are released, albeit still tied up. Mickey was clumsily trying to free his maiden, but adstringendum had other ideas…

Abilities/Additional Notes:
Aside from speaking French, our little lady is your typical damsel in distress so she doesn’t have much in the way of abilities.

Sample Journal Post:
[When the video flickers on, it’s purely by accident, given the odd angle it’s showing. Among all the black and gray of the rubble, her fluffy pink dress might be a bit of an eyesore. But you’re not the only one who is sore – our little lady is huffing and puffing like the Big Bad Wolf, walking through the ruins and has clearly been ranting for some time.]

- And the NERVE of some people! Do they really have no idea who I am? Shouldn’t everyone know who I am? This is so beyond disrespectful! I don’t get a single moment’s rest before I get kidnapped again! What did I ever do to deserve this? I swear, if I ever find them…

[She rants onward, with the device clutched in one hand, completely unaware that it’s on. While she grumbles, she delicately holds up her dress and tiptoes through dust and dirt, trying her absolute best not to get dirty, but failing pretty sadly. Another groan!]

This is going to take days to wash off. Daisy’s never going to let me hear the end of it, I know. I bet she’s worrying her head off back at the tower. And just when things were going so well between Mickey and I…

[With a lovelorn sigh, she resigns herself to her fate, and sits down on the ground, tossing the device from hand to hand for a game to pass the time.]

Well, he’ll come and get me again. I just need to wait for him, that’s all. He got me once, he’ll do it again. Then we can pick up from where we left off. Though I wish I had been kidnapped to somewhere a little cleaner. At least the tower look dusted off. This is…

[She pauses. Come to think of it, she doesn’t recall any place fitting this description in her kingdom.]

… My goodness, where is this? This doesn’t look like any part of France I’ve ever been in. I had no idea people were living off so badly. Why doesn’t anyone tell me anything? I mean, if this was the point of kidnapping me here, they could have simply said how bad things had gotten. I would have been more than happy to fix things… People can be so rash. I’ll have Daisy look into this when I get home. And after my date with Mickey. Yes, I’ll get right to the bottom of things when I can.

Sample RP:

It had been a few days since the princess had arrived in this bizarre place, and her clothes showed evidence of it. Wears, tears, dirt, she had seen better days and this wasn’t one of them. She had gone to the high school in search of books, only to find that it had been long since looted. Disappointed, she sat down on an old desk and kicked up her heels, trying to think of what to do next. She had come here in search of something to learn, now that she knew she was behind almost everyone in this world when it came to technology, geography, history - it was a long list she didn’t care to check up on. It wouldn’t go her any good to remain ignorant, but every attempt to change this ended in failure.

Not that this was going to stop her efforts. She pulled out her PCD and began to look over what provided maps. At least she was getting the hang of using this device. That reminder brightened her up, and a tired smile came upon her muzzle as she tapped out a small message. Sure, she missed her castle and her servants and even Daisy’s nagging, but there had also been some pride in learning to be somewhat self-sufficient. It made her feel closer to the people around her, and it would probably give her some insight to how her kingdom’s commoners felt. All things had a bright side to them, if you knew how to look for them.

“Attention, citizens.” She spoke clearly for her voice message, needing to be polite and orderly even when she couldn’t be seen. “I’d like some help regarding a teaching position… well, I’d like to be taught, really. Please get back to me as soon as possible.” Feeling this was enough, she needed the message, and awaited the answers. Confident she would hear back from a number of people soon, she closed her eyes and allowed herself to daydream of better days, walking through her garden with her handsome bodyguard. Maybe those calls could take their time.
